Exposure

The amount of light reaching the camera sensor.

If the image is over exposed, too much light reaches the sensor making the image overly bright. If the image in under exposed, not enough light reaches the sensor making the image darker.

There are 3 elements that affect exposure:

1- Aperture
2- Shutter speed
3- ISO (sensor sensitivity)
