Yanik's Photo School

JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) is the most commonly used digital image format. It’s universally compatible with browsers, viewers, cameras and image editing software. It compresses images by a factor 10 to 20 compared to the uncompressed original RAW image with very little visible loss in image quality.
