Off-Campus Learning Links for February

It’s that time of the month again where I share with you some of my favorite photo links.

I’m currently in Cancun shooting a spa book, then a week of R&R in Miami. Life is rough. 😉 Hopefully, I’ll have time here in Cancun to shoot a few tutorials! And before I get to the links, I would just like to toot my own horn for a second. YPS made Photography Colleges’s top 100 photography blogs! Woohoo. OK, back to some serious stuff now.

Scott Kelby has a 4-part video series on the new Photoshop CS4. Well worth viewing if you plan upgrading soon or if you already have it. Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4

Udi over at has a great post about a DIY bokeh shape changer.

Here’s a great video if you want to know more about photography legend Ansel Adams.

If you don’t know Chris Jordan yet… now you do! Some dramatic images to push a call to action to reduce waste. Check out his talk at TED and his personal Website.

Over at DPS is a fun tutorial about gradient maps.

Planning a photography trip? Over at XposurePro, they go through a travel photography checklist.

If you’re a stock photographer or plan to be one, Yuri Arcurs has a great article on the best ways of researching images for your next photo shoot.
