Happy Holidays!
I would like to take this moment to wish you and all your loved ones a holiday season filled with love and laughs and…. photos! 
And even though I send my positive thoughts out almost on a daily basis, I take spacial care during this time of need to send my prayers out to those less fortunate who might have lost their homes, their jobs or worse. I feel so fortunate to have a roof over my head and to earn my living with my passion. I’m grateful that I ask myself “what I’m going to eat” and not “if I’m going to eat”. That I live in a democratic country where I feel safe to walk the streets.
Even tough I already support a few charities, this year more than ever, I’ve made a promise to do more. Not only in the immediate but also in my longterm vision. I’ll be doing more than sending a check or giving food. In 2008 I started this blog to give back and even the few dollars made on this blog went to charity. But I still want to do more. This small town photographer has big ideas and procrastination is over!
Here are some of my 2009 projects:
- In January, you’ll see a newly designed YPS! I’ve been working on the new design for a few months now and it will give you easier access to all tutorials. Advertising will also be available. Part of the ad revenue proceeds will go towards a “scholarship” to a respected online photography learning site.
- I’ll be writing a book. Nuf said. 
- My biggest project of all for 2009…. a very special photo-story book. Can’t say more for now. Don’t want to jinx it.
Posts will be sporadic between now and January 5th but all will be back to normal on the 5th with a new video tutorial.

I’ve only been recently reading your blog. But I do want to thank you for your support of charitable organizations. I’m on the board of directors of a struggling charity that is fighting for its life in this time of reduced donations, not only financially but with your time as well.
Good luck for the book and for your microstock career in 2009. Have a good time in the Holidays!
