To celebrate Yanik’s Photo School’s 1 year anniversary, I’m launching the YPS Scholarship Award! I had given you hints about the award a while back and now it’s here! Any self respecting school has a scholarship program, right? YPS is no exception.

Before I go any further, I would like to thank Scott Kelby and Kelby Training for sponsoring the YPS Scholarship Award. I was willing to pay for the award myself but Scott was generous enough to sponsor it. All of the YPS readers thank you Scott!

Ok, so what’s this scholarship all about? If you are chosen, you’ll get a 1 year subscription to Kelby Training’s online classes! That’s 12 full months of unlimited courses on photography, Photoshop, Lightroom and much more! And guess what? I’ll be giving away 2 per year! One in spring and one in the fall.

“How can I win this great scholarship?”, you might ask. You can view the complete details on the YPS Scholarship page. But to sum it up, you have to submit a short tutorial, tip or trick on photography or post processing. I invite you to be creative and use your abundant imagination. Try to think of something you’d like to learn, Google it and teach us! I’ll then do a random draw of all all the entries. Please follow the guidelines carefully cuz I wouldn’t want to disqualify you.

The contest is officailly open! So stir those creative juices and submit your best idea. Remember, only one entry per person per contest. The contest closes at 9:00 am EST on April 20, 2009.
