Photoshop Video Tutorial – Fun With The Liquify Tool

Alrighty! It’s time to lighten things up a bit today. 🙂

Yes, I could show you how to use the liquify tool the boring way by thinning thighs and plumping lips the “real way” but to hell with that! Let’s have fun!

I used a shot of Joey Lawrence that I took after my RockBand shoot in Calgary. My buddy Joey is a professional photographer and if you missed the interview I did with him, I strongly recommend you check it out and then check out his portfolio! The guy’s got game!

Have fun with it and post your liquify images on Yanik’s Photo School’s Flickr Group! 🙂

  1. that is so funny man i nearly fell out of my chair

  2. Just a side note, its Forward Warp tool, not wrap.. Just a moot point.

  3. Hey Jamie,

I have Photoshop Elements 6 and you will find the Liquify tool and all the rest of the ones mentioned…

Go to Editor, then Filter, then Distort. Liquify is there, with all its fun buttons.

I tried to give cranky old grama a smile, but it looked rather odd.

    Have fun! -Bekah

  4. Hi..
Thanks Yanik. It’s a fun time, learn photoshop from your site 🙂

  5. Haha nice! Sadly I don’t think my version of Photoshop (6) has that function.. maybe one day though 😉

One small point – a friendly correction rather than a criticism – I think that first tool is called the forward warp tool, not the forward wrap tool.

    Thanks for the video!
    -J.
