Hello fellow YPS readers! I’m finally back with a new Photoshop Video Tutorial!
This is a quick and easy tutorial on how to create awesome grunge effects in Photoshop simply by using blending modes. All you need is one of your photos, a texture and Photoshop! If you don,t have textures, just go out and shoot your sidewalk, walls or whatever that looks good. Or if you’re too lazy, just Google “free textures”.

As you guys know, I’m a big fan of Lightroom. And with Lightroom 3 out, I’ve discovered many cool tweaks and upgrades like super fast importing and disk deletion as well as image preview generation. They seem like little things but it just keeps time on your side just a bit more.

Spring is just around the corner and my urge as a passionate nature photographer, is to jump in my car and drive to the nearest national or provincial park and take photos of wildlife as they emerge from the cold slumber of winter. I get a real kick out of observing wildlife in their natural habitat and I do need to practice some important strategies if I want to capture those perfect wildlife photos from the driver’s seat of my car.
