Adding Subtle Colors to Black and White Images – Lightroom Video Tutorial
In this new Lightroom 2 video tutorial, I’ll show you how to add a subtle splash of color to a black and with image. This technique is very similar to my Lightroom split toning tutorial where you convert an image to B&W then add color to it. The main difference is that split toning affects the whole image and you can only use 2 colors (one for shadows and one for highlights) while using the gradient filter and the adjustment brush gives you more creative control and you can add as many colors as you want.
I know I say the “graduated filter” instead of the gradient tool. Old Photoshop habits.
Note: for those not yet on Twitter, I’ve added my Twitter feed in the sidebar so you can see the last 3 tweets.
