This was a fun Photoshop tutorial! A reader asked me if I could do a tutorial on making a photo look washed out and old like in the 70s and I thought that was a great idea!

I’ve done this style a few times in the past but it had been a while. It came back to me very quickly though.

This video tutorial is a 3 step process to creating a vintage look in your photos. The first step is modifying the colors. Step 2 is to create that “de-contrasted” or washed out look. And the last step is to play with saturation.

So let’s get right to it!
