Who Owns a Photo on the Internet – Copyright Infographic

Like almost everybody who takes photos, I like to share some of them online. It’s a great way to show your skills or just tell stories. But what happens to the photo’s copyright once it’s uploaded on a social media site like Facebook? Do you still own the rights to your photo?

Well the guys over at Clifton Cameras made a great photo copyright infographic explaining how it works.

Remember that you can also get my free Ultimate Legal Bundle for Photographers which includes a Cease & Desist template as well as 20+ links to various copyright and legal websites.

Enjoy! 🙂
